Periodic follow-up colonoscopies are recommended by the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) to prevent colon cancer and diseases for each person who is over the age of 40 or have a positive fecal occult blood test (FOBT). For endoscopy you will need to have previously prepared or notified the clinic. For a colonoscopy you must visit the clinic a week prior the procedure to get the preparation kit.
